Marlene Hällström
Marlene is a passionate musher and ethologist, with a particular interest in sled dog welfare. She runs an 8-dog-team of own bred siberian huskies in longer mid-distance races as Femundløpet 200 and Amundsen Race 180.
Marlene is a masters' student of Clinical Animal Behaviour at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Sciences in Edinburgh. She is also the current Captain of the Swedish National Sled Dog Team.
Nicole Soraya Fhors
Nicole is probably best known for her vast emotional connection to her dogs – and her ability to put words to those feelings. As a multipassionate, she is just as enthusiastic about learning and gaining knowledge, as she is about sharing it with others.
Nicole is a licensed SDSF (the Swedish National Sleddog Racing Federation) instructor, has several years of experience of working in dog daycare centers & runs her own tourist kennel in Sweden.
Damian Sherman
Damo hails from the UK, a country not initially associated with mushing, but with a large, and very active, sled dog community. He has raced malamutes in the UK as a dry land musher, and ran a tourist kennel in Sweden in 2018.
He has learned much from his first mentor, Janet Kempsell and continues to expand his knowledge, recently undertaking a diploma in veterinary science. Damo is known for his views on responsibility towards our furry companions and has dedicated his life towards their care and enrichment.
