    What you are going to learn

    A few words about this course

    Distance racing is as exciting as it is scary. As a beginner, it is nearly impossible to get the whole picture of what is required of you to reach the finish line. And that is the achievement most mushers aim for in distance racing;

    Reaching the finish line..

    The Åredraget Coaching Program aims to provide you with all the knowledge you need to start, enjoy and finish Åredraget. You set the goals and our experienced mushers will fill in the gaps needed for you to reach them!

    When completed this course you:

    • ..feel safe and self confident about starting Åredraget
    • ..know your own capacity as well as your dogs'
    • ..have created a race plan to follow all through the race
    • ..know what equipment you need and how to handle it

    What our students say

    "A very fun, structured and informative course with an experienced and motivated instructor, highly recommended for everyone! Easy to follow, open for discussions and I loved every bit of it. I got to dive deeper into sled dog training and how to build my dogs to be their best, as well as keeping them healthy and safe! I got tools that I've begun using in our daily routines and training sessions and I can see an improvement in me and my dogs individually and as a team!"
